Railway Signalling

Alsetex offers two railway signals : The Railway Detonator (preventive sound signal that is directly attached to the rail) and the Red Flame Illuminating Flare (used to signal a danger or an accident, by night or day, after an extremely short set-up time).

Weather Control

Alsetex offers a range of weather control products : The hygroscopic salt flare and the silver iodide flare.

Security of Goods and People

The P2 range of smoke pots generate a white and non-toxic «cold» smoke that does not cause any damage to people or installations when used within the recommended volumes.

Anti Bird Hazard

Developed in cooperation with the Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile (DGAC), the CAPA long range cartridge is very scary for birds, it provides an optimal protection against accidents.

Avalanche Control

The Avalauncher is a pneumatic launcher equipped with a 4 or 6 m tube designed to fire the Explosive Arrow projectile for preventive avalanche control.

About Alsetex

Alsetex designs and manufactures pyrotechnic devices dedicated to civil protection products since 1965. Our 700 acre factory is located in Sarthe (72).

Our company develops a range of products to combat natural disasters (avalanches, birds, hail, droughts, etc.), as well as a range of non-toxic smoke products that respond to the various needs of air tests and training.

ALSETEX has a particularly recognized know-how in the production of various effects in compliance with the regulatory standards for the air, road and rail fields.
